comprehensive training available on the JC
Systems Model 620A/600A family of programmer/controllers,
accessories, options and computer user interfacing.
On
Site: I will come
to you and train in your facility on your systems.
Customized
Training: Prior to training, an assessment is made of your
environmental systems, instrumentation and the system configurations. The training is then focused on your
particular applications and needs.
I will review the systems and suggest ways to improve performance,
simplify operation and application of the unused features and benefits of the
Model 620A/600A and accessories.
Class Size: All classes are tailored to the needs and abilities
of your lab personel. Class size you select can vary from one or
two individuals to larger groups of six to ten or more. Larger
groups may require two sessions.
Participants
will learn how to:
Programming/Editing:
Program Operation:
- Run programs and perform various
tasks, such as changing or modifying step parameter values of a current
step without affecting the program execution.
- Switch from a running program to a new
program without creating potentially damaging process conditions
(Temp/RH/Alt/Vibe) in the chamber and to the product under
test.
Manual
Operation:
- Select and operate the controller channels and
Event (Aux) ouputs in the Manual Mode.
- Use one or both controller channels in
Manual operation with a running program.
- Operate the 620A in FastTRAC mode using manual
setpoints.
Front Panel &
Numeric Keypad Operation:
- Understand the function of all keypad buttons
and front panel displays and messages.
- Interpret
and take corrective action necessary for all alarm and hardware
conditions during program execution or manual mode operation.
Configuration, Tuning, Calibration
-
Become proficient in configuring single and two channel
Programmer/Contollers, PID tuning parameters, fuctions, settings and
operation.

Understand FastTRAC (Part Temperature Control) configuration, set
up unique FastTRAC PID setting, system tuning
& operation.

Perform
calibration for all input types.
-
Perform
output Loop (Loop1 & Loop 2) calibrations.
Inputs & Outputs
- Configure
and hook up any input type for proper operation for both 620A/600A and
non-"A" versions.
- Hook up digital
outputs for SSR operation or analog (Loop1 & Loop 2)
- Configuration, hook
up and function of digital photoisolated inputs.
Accessories - Hook up configuration
and operation
- Install and use of
all JC accessory boards.
ToolBox Software & Computer
Interfacing
The JC Systems
ToolBox program CD can be purchased through TMC Services. It is a windows application program written in LabView for
Windows. The ToolBox software
provides the convenience of performing almost all front panel functions along
with the added capability of storing and restoring programmer and controller
configurations, PID tuning parameters, data logging and Visual PID tuning of the
instrument.
The offline
editor allows for programs to be created for future uploading and
operation. Existing programs on file may also be edited and
refined.
